What I need is time, just us alone, so that I can convince Em that we’re every bit as strong as we were before I was taken. That we’re still meant to be together. Only Em seems to still attract just as much trouble and danger these days as she did before. No matter. I’m going to kill everyone that is after my wife and help her with whatever job she’s doing now. And while I’m at it, I’ll remind her of exactly why she agreed to marry me in the first place.
